The Podium combines a Hyper Progressive Sidecut and composites of carbon and kevlar so you can conquer everything in your path. Key Features of the K2 Podium 164cm Snowboard: Hybritech construction - Cap tip and tail blended into a sidewall along the running surface for a low swing weight and optimized turn initiation at the ends, combined with durability and damping on the running surface Hyper progressive sidecut - A very gentle radius in the tip and tail are blended to a tight radius in the center, aggressive yet versatile Multi-Polar Core - Two core materials are joined at the neutral axis by an elastomer layer. Both work in tandem to create the most lively (primary wood core) and damp (composite secondary core) combination on the market. 4, 000 Ceramic Sintered - 4000 sintered base with added carbon plus ceramic fibers. Graphite adds speed, while ceramic improves abrasion resistance. Standard Steel Edges - Proven durability with one piece of steel wrapped around the entire perimeter of the board. Carbon and Kevlar Inlays - Carbon and Kevlar are used to enhance the response and reduce the overall weight. Carbon gives lightweight response and energy while Kevlar adds toughness and smooth recoil. Carbon Torsion Forks - Provides a direct path from the rider to the contact points for fast turn initiation, added edge control and more pop for higher ollies.
